VISALIA, Tulare County — November 4, 2026. Visalia Unified School District’s Measure Z has more Yes than No votes in the election-night report but remains below its 55% approval requirement.
Current unofficial count
The posted tally is 12,700 Yes votes and 11,560 No votes. Yes accounts for approximately 52.35% of the reported total.
What the result means
A simple majority is not enough for this 55%-threshold school bond. The measure cannot be called passed merely because Yes leads. Since the figures are not certified, voters should continue to follow official updates before calling the proposal defeated or approved.
When new numbers are expected
The numbers above describe Tulare County’s November 4 early-morning election-night results, corroborated by local reporting and ABC30 election tables published November 4. They are not November 5 canvass updates. The county says its first post-election results update is scheduled for November 5 by 6 p.m. Pacific. Further valid mail, provisional and conditional registration ballots may alter rankings before certification.
